Privacy Policy

How ZÉREN handles the information you send us. Written plainly, because a policy nobody reads protects nobody.

This website sets no cookies. There is no analytics, no advertising pixel and no visitor tracking of any kind. Nothing is stored on your device. You are not profiled, and there is no consent banner because there is nothing to consent to.

1. Who is responsible for your data

2. What we collect, and only when you send it

We collect nothing from you simply for visiting. Personal data reaches us only when you choose to fill in one of three forms:

Our web host records standard server logs (IP address, browser, page requested) for security and to keep the site running. These are held by our host and are not used to build any profile of you.

3. Legal basis

Contact and creator applications — our legitimate interest in responding to people who approach us, and in operating a creator network (Art. 6(1)(f) GDPR). Where the exchange leads towards an agreement, pre-contractual steps at your request (Art. 6(1)(b)).
Newsletter — your consent (Art. 6(1)(a)), withdrawable at any time.
Server logs — legitimate interest in the security and availability of the site (Art. 6(1)(f)).

4. Who else sees it

We do not sell your data and we do not share it for anyone else's marketing.

Two service providers process it on our behalf:

Google — form submissions are delivered through Google Apps Script and stored in Google Sheets. This means your submission is stored on Google's infrastructure, which may involve transfer to the United States.
Vercel — hosts this website and handles the server logs described above.

International transfers. Because our organisation is established in Hong Kong and our providers operate globally, your data may be processed outside the European Economic Area. Where that happens, transfers rely on the safeguards in Chapter V GDPR, such as the European Commission's Standard Contractual Clauses or an applicable adequacy decision.

5. How long we keep it

Contact enquiries — up to 3 years from our last exchange, then deleted.
Creator applications — up to 2 years, so we can come back to you when a relevant brief appears. Tell us to delete it sooner and we will.
Newsletter — until you unsubscribe.
Server logs — as retained by our host for operational and security purposes.

6. Your rights

Under the GDPR you may ask us to give you a copy of your data, correct it, delete it, restrict how we use it, or hand it to another provider. You can object to processing based on legitimate interest, and withdraw consent to the newsletter at any time.

If you are not satisfied with our answer, you may complain to your national data protection authority. In France this is the CNIL.

7. Cookies and tracking

None. No cookies, no local storage, no analytics, no advertising or social pixels. This is a deliberate choice, and it is why you see no consent banner.

The site does load typefaces from Google Fonts and two photographs from Unsplash. Loading a file from those services transmits your IP address to them, as any request to any server does. No cookie is set by either.

8. External links

Our pages link to Instagram, TikTok, LinkedIn, RedNote and other sites, and offer a Google Meet booking link. Once you follow a link you are on someone else's service, under their policy, not ours.

9. Changes

If this policy changes we update the date at the top of this page.
